Our founders, Dr. Engineer and Dr. Raj, are a dynamic husband and wife duo who set out to create a whole new experience for their pediatric dental patients. They wanted to be able to care for children in a positive environment with the intention of setting them up for lifelong dental health. Their hope is that their little patients will be able to learn how to best care for their smiles to avoid potential issues down the line.
Originally from India, they both have extensive educational backgrounds and degrees from both India and America. After exclusively working with kids as associate dentists for more than four years, Dr. Raj and Dr. Engineer decided they wanted to build something of their own, and create a dental office where kids of all ages could feel comfortable and get truly excellent dental care. Together, they have almost a decade of combined experience and a shared vision of creating an inclusive, warm, and happy experience for kids. Dr. Raj and Dr. Engineer are proud to serve the Bakersfield community, and help kids throughout the area maintain healthy, happy, and bright smiles as they grow.
From the moment your child walks into our office, they’ll feel comfortable. Our open and spacious waiting area is complete with a kid’s play area and plenty of seating, as well as a beverage station and tons of other family-friendly amenities.
Our dedication to comfort extends to our patient operating areas, too. We have TVs in every room so your little ones can watch their favorite shows, and child-friendly decor helps keep them feeling calm. We even offer laughing gas sedation for kids who may be feeling nervous, and who need a little extra help getting through their treatment. Once your child’s appointment is over, they’ll get a goodie bag filled with toys, as well as a balloon!
Dr. Raj and Dr. Engineer have years of experience working with children. Our friendly team can handle most dental conditions in-house, minimizing referrals and simplifying your child’s treatment process. From fillings and SDF for cavities, to dental crowns for damaged teeth, and even orthodontic treatments like space maintainers, braces, and Invisalign, we can do it all.
